Not a 4 star hotel...

Liked: The property/rooms/lobby looked very nice
Disliked: The property/rooms/lobby looked nice but wasn’t functional. The parking situation was confusing and involved a multi step process that wasn’t clearly indicated by the front desk. It offered come and go parking for one price but the hotel doesn’t own the lot in which you park in so it’s shared with other retailers/apartments. It was also annoying to contact the front desk because many times they did not answer. The rooms were fine but the ac did not work (75° in the room on a humid 80° day). we turned the ac on before we left the room for our activities and expected it to work. When we returned around 12 am the room was not cooler, we went to the front desk and got a room change but the ac did not kick on in that room either regardless of the thermostat settings we “controlled”. The hotel must have a cap on ac temp to save money. The new room we had been switched to also had a weird wet stain/leak underneath the carpet that did not resolve. It was a fine hotel but definitely not 4 star worthy and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Liked: Breakfast was not included :(
Disliked: The hotel was beautiful but room was absolutely freezing. I turned the AC off and it was still cold. Had to sleep in my sweater!

Very good

Liked: Loved the location, close to subway, and walking pretty much anywhere. Room was large and clean.
Disliked: The staff was not very friendly. They were professional, did their job, but nothing over the top to make you feel welcomed.

Liked: Friendly and efficient staff. Clean rooms, great location.
Disliked: Something so simple, so tiny but so visible and so palpable like the elevator buttons without cracks should be so simple to fix. Same goes for the overall illumination inside the elevators, it should feel well illuminated.
