Its an intimate hotel with...

Liked: We chose Le Mas des Ecutruils because we wanted a hotel near Aix and the TGV - not in the tourist center of Aix. We specifically wanted a pool with a beautiful environment and on site dining/breakfast.
Disliked: There could be an issue for some people, as there are stairs to get to the rooms and no elevator.

Disliked: It could be decorated more charming

Surprisingly good

Liked: room was very clean and comfortable in the restaurant was surprisingly good. the place is run by very nice people

Liked: The view from the balcony.
Disliked: The radiators could not be turned on yet in early November... the old fan in the room made a huge racket, there was a bad smell in the bathroom, the restaurant room in the evening was very cold, and some things were broken (ex the small pivoting mirror could not stay up). The staff were not particularly nice at reception.

Rustic spot outside of Aix. Car definitely required. We really enjoyed the landscape and the pool.

Liked: Beautiful setting and pool. Room had balcony. Pleasant staff.
Disliked: They seemed to be having some infrastructure issues; repairing leaks and the hot water did not work for a portion of our stay.

Miserable and had to find another hotel at 21.00 hr ,we are still waiting to be refunded.

Disliked: First very difficult to find. On arrival a very noisy student end of term party. Room very damp and miserable. We left with the assurance to be refunded.We are still waiting. Never again.
