Simply the best!

Liked: Le Mas Angelussi is a wonderful place to stay. It is family run and the welcome is exceptionally warm and friendly. Our room was exceptional. We had a private terrace overlooking the beautiful pool where loungers were placed under trees in the adjoining gardens. The linens and towels were of high quality and the standard of cleanliness exceptional. The dining and relaxing spaces were intimate yet private and the evening meal was superb. This is an oasis of calm and quality which we thoroughly enjoyed and whole heatedly recommend.

Good choice of hotel

Liked: If you like typically french and quaint this is lovely. The rooms are all separate around a small garden. We didn't know the hotel at all having just picked it for an overnight stay, and when we arrived it wasn't what we were expecting. It does have a feel of a chambre d'hote as it only has 10 rooms and each are individual. We asked to eat in the restaurant, but there is no choice and luckily it wasn't anything I was allergic too. The food was good and tasty. One thing disappointed us - we had advised them that we were travelling with our dog who is blind, and we were given a room that we had to go up a curved staircase too. We had to carry our dog up and down the stairs as she couldn't have coped with them. I would have appreciated the owner getting in touch and explaining that we could have another room that was suitable for our dog, and given us the chance to choose to keep the one we'd booked. We did speak to the owner when we checked out about this and she was very helpful, and explained the set-up of the rooms to us. As a plus, there is good secure parking, and only 5 mins to walk into town (7 mins back!).
