Very well designed and quirky. Breakfast not so good.

Liked: Attractively individual. Well designed and quirky. Pleasant salon and breakfast area. Bedroom a bit cold.
Disliked: All pretty good. One problem was that the cakes at breakfast were somewhat stale. the Far Breton was inedible.

A unique experience and to be honest, the best part of our stay in Rennes.

Liked: This is a unique hotel and staying was a special experience. We didn't eat there but the food always looked very good; we did have coffee and it was excellent. The room was delightful and having the toilet separate is a nice luxury. The bath products were of excellent quality, and I like their environmental considerations. Rennes is worth a visit but isn't a place I need to return to, but I would happily stay in Le Magic Hall if it were in another French city!
Disliked: The only thing that is perhaps a little negative is that there's not much in the area surrounding it and it's a bit of a walk to the busier parts of the city. But it was very quiet, which is always a plus.
