Nice but would avoid in...

Liked: Staff were lovely, a lot of options at breakfast and lovely view from the balcony. Bed was comfortable and laundry service good. Coffee machine and fridge appreciated and they gifted us some red wine and macarons on the first night which was a very kind surprise.
Disliked: It's not actually air conditioned despite advertising that it is - there's an air vent and a notice essentially saying they know it's not as cool as expected but it won't be upgraded to be eco-friendly, a plug in fan would genuinely have been more cooling. It hit 42°C while we were there and the lack of air con really let the trip down, especially as knowing it would be hot we'd specifically double checked it had air con before arrival. The room was so unbelievably hot and there was just nothing you could do to cool it down, opening the doors to the balcony just brought in even more hot air, even over night, making it extremely unpleasant and difficult to sleep which is not what you expect for the cost per night. As soon as we arrived there were ants on the balcony, after a couple of days they were in our room even though we weren't leaving the doors open, reported it to reception and it was quickly resolved so must be a known issue.
