Le Grand Balcon Hotel

Wonderful location, staff, comfort.

Liked: The location is excellent and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and the bed too.
Disliked: The hotel is being refurbished but that didn't really affect us negatively. Our only problem was the lack of grab rails around the bath which made us feel a bit unsafe. However, I believe the baths are being replaced by walk in showers which will be much safer. People with mobility problems might want to discuss this with the hotel when booking. I would not let it detract from my rating of 'exceptional'.

Liked: Hotel location was perfect. Room was small but the extremely comfortable bed made up for that. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast.

Was just hot and no...

Disliked: The AC was not working and the little fan did not do a lot. Noisy outside so had to close the windows which made it warmer. Informed as I was boarding a plane as o too late to change plus prices were up. 2 fans would have helped

Delightful Stay

Liked: The little l'Occitane en Provence amenities were a delightful surprise, as were the bath salts. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was steps from a plaza with many restaurants.

Liked: Perfect location. The staff was attentive and friendly. Amenities included an elevator, room service and a bar.
Disliked: My room had nasty stains on the carpet. The air conditioning didn’t work.
