Liked: The facade of the hotel is beautifully overgrown with climbing plants, creating an old-manor-like feeling. And the river view from the window is also beautiful.What's more, the lady at reception was very helpful - we arrived too late because of a train delay but she found a way how to save our day (or rather our night). Merci beaucoup :-).

Disliked: No free parking, as we didn’t have a reservation, it was ‘full’. Didn’t see any note about having to book a space on Booking.com.

Liked: Great location, clean room, excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Our welcome was not a friendly or very helpful one. The male receptionist was actually quite loud and gruff. Unfortunately, we do not speak French-only Spanish, Portuguese, and, of course, English. We spoke in English (this is noted as the first language on the hotel's advertisement). 99% of the time, he spoke to us in French, causing much confusion. The 'satellite tv' offered but a few French channels. The Wifi signal was weak and calls dropped more than once. Alas, the actual price for 2 nights was greater than what was calculated at the time of booking.
