Liked: Close to all sites. Staff was always responsive.
Disliked: No sound proofing. We could hear the guests while in their room.

Liked: Beautifully appointed room perched above the old town, very handy for a tourist. No staff on site but they were very proactive in making sure that we had everything we needed.
Disliked: It was a long walk from the station, but that is not the fault of the room... just the geography!

Lovely weekend in the heart...

Liked: The location is central and the heart of the old city. The security access to the building was easy to navigate. The linens were more than adequate. Once we figured out there was a kitchen in the basement to replenish cream etc., we saw more potential in the facility for more independent stays. Text communication with the hotel was timely and responsive to questions in advance of the stay. It is obvious the owners care about their property and are doing their best to create a positive guest experience for patrons.
Disliked: The other patrons were very noisy which is not within the control of the proprietors. Between midnight and 3 am another party in the hotel were speaking loudly and noisily walking back and forth between rooms above us...that was very disruptive to our rest. The facility is older with elements of new (i.e. an espresso machine). You can totally see how the owners are endeavouring to provide a positive atmosphere for guests within an older facility.
