Le Bonne Entente

Sadly, a beautiful hotel now...

Liked: Once upon a time in the 1980’s, this hotel must have been great. Unfortunately, I don’t think any updates or more than required fixes/upkeep have happened since then, and it’s now a low-end “budget friendly” run down facility living off its old ratings. Plenty of staff, all very helpful. Room was complete disappointment. Deep cleaning had clearly not been done in at least 1-2 years, items were broken or nonfunctional, furniture was quite old and in terrible condition, bedding was cheap and had to request additional blankets, bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. I had high hopes from the pictures—a complete disappointment to the era that the hotel must have been truly desirable. Very sad and not worth the money for the truly disappointing conditions of the rooms.

Old, dirty and smelly

Liked: The location was the main reason we chose this hotel. The front desk manager was able to move us to another room and acted quickly.
Disliked: The room was extremely old and likely never refurbished. The room had a terrible smell, the furniture was full of stains (see photos). The floor between the bathroom and the bathroom was broken and falling apart. I would strongly advise to look at alternative options in the area.

Good experience overall

Liked: The spa and staff were great.
Disliked: The room smelled like dog piss. A dog kept barking next door. A security deposit of 250$ upon arrival was not mentioned or disclosed on booking.com. room wasn't ready early. Had to leave my stuff in the lobby not to miss my 4pm spa appointment. Breakfast ended too early. Rooms and hotelA little dated inside.

Disliked: Overall, we were satisfied with the service and enjoyed our stay. However, we find it unreasonable to be charged for parking, especially given that the property is not located in a city center or high-demand area. Additionally, we were charged $90 after check-out for missing items that we did not take. This claim is entirely unfounded and unacceptable. Unfortunately, this incident left a very negative impression and overshadowed an otherwise pleasant experience. We cannot recommend this property based on this unfair treatment.

Liked: spa was great the bathroom was clean and looked nice
Disliked: well the problem was the room AC was broken and made a awful sound that kept me awake all night if i turn it off the room was to hot also it was said that i had a courtyard look but there was no such thing obstructed view of nothing would be more accurate sounds of music were also heard for hours on end so no the stay was mediocre at most for the price of the room
