A very good family place,...
Liked: This motel is perfectly located for entering the Sequoia Park. The park entrance is less than 10 miles away from it. The accommodation is in separate building, which is convenient - very private. It stands a large plot of land, where there is a makeshift zoo with lambs, goats and sheep, which is a nice curiosity. There is space for kids to run around w/o bumping into other people. There is also a good pool. Inside, there are 2 beds and a couch, which you can turn into another bed. The bathroom and the kitchen are pretty small, but still functional.
Disliked: Kitchen equipment was clearly thrown together with little thought. For example, about 20% of kitchen space was occupied by a huge fridge, which is way too big for a stay of normal duration. There was a lot of pots in the kitchen, but no kettle (electric or usual), which is the number 1 appliance to have (one is much more likely to make tea or coffee than to boil potatoes). There were few cups, and all of them were different. Same for teaspoons. Not a real problem, but makes a very makeshift impression.
