Having stayed at the Lazaat...

Liked: Room was spacious, good shower. I have stayed at the Lazaat before so knew location and hotel set up.
Disliked: I was informed about a wedding reception at the hotel 2 days before arrival (too late to book anywhere else) and the likelihood of loud music until 1am. I was informed I would be booked into a room far away from where the wedding reception was. I ended up in Room 2 which is almost above where the reception was and was incredibly noisy resulting in poor night's sleep. I mentioned next morning, no apology or recompense for the inconvenience.

Wont be going again

Disliked: Our stay didnt start very well with going into our room to find the bath still holding water within it. Gave the bath a clean and ran one.. piping hot water.. its great to have but not so great when there is no cold water meaning we had to go old school and use cold water in the kettle to cool it down. Because of this there was no option to shower, unless you want to look like a lobster and wince. Called reception, moved to a new room. Luckily this shower had cold water, however the room was mucky. Marks on the bed, dust everywhere, hair belonging to others. If they have cleaners, new ones are needed. Basics were not up to scratch. I would not be staying here again or recommending to others.
