Down the tubes.

Liked: The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: This place has gone down the tubes. The carpet felt moist. They nearly discouraged us from having our rooms cleaned. Check in was slow - and there was nobody in front of us!!! I didn't like the fact that the pool was not working. It was HOT!!! I mean, their pool area has always left much to be desired, anyway...but no pool? Again. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here with no pool. No where on the site did it show pool was out of commission. I stayed for the beach....come to find out, the hotel no longer supplies the towels for the beach. I also see that we are back to full on smoking in the casino, no section for non-smoking was found. It seems they would rather police me for having my 10 yo grandson walking with me ON OUR WAY THROUGH the casino (not stopping) than to police those people smoking in non smoking areas. In Dotty's area, why are you advertising chicken nuggets and kiddie foods when you can't even take your kids in there? And with all that space - no restaurant...what happened to the one that was there? They really need to upgrade their 'arcade'. Sad, really. I kept wondering what was keeping this hotel in business. I'd go back to staying at the Aquarius or even try the Edgewater. We won't be back.

Liked: Close and clean. The store inside is very affordable
Disliked: Sheets and blankets were very thin

Liked: Access to the river.
Disliked: Unfortunately the pool wasn't in service during our stay.

Staff is amazing, owners/managers could...

Liked: The staff was superior, very friendly and attentive from check in to check out. I reported a minor Maintenace issue within about an hour of our check in as we were heading out for dinner and it was resolved before we returned.
Disliked: The overall condition of the room was disappointing. We were out quickly upon check in so apart for the minor issue above some of the observations were later in the evening. The television was from 1980 and did not work, no remote in the room. Absence of a mini refrigerator or coffee maker was also a bit surprising, although it would have been ok if there was ice available on the floor. No such luck, you had to go to the from desk. I opted not to so not sure if you had to pay or not but either way it would be a hassle.

Liked: The rooms were great, family suit is lovely, and bowling was super fun!
Disliked: no ice, no pool, no restaurants, no gym, no live tables in casino, no sports books besides a small atm looking machine
