Comfortable and good value stay

Liked: LPH provided a good base for exploring Adelaide and the wider area. My room was comfortable if basic, and had the usual coffee, milk, biscuits etc which were refreshed each day. The room was clean, with an excellent shower. The hotel has a large and popular bar and restaurant area, where breakfast can also be purchased from the menu. Overall, good value and I would use again.
Disliked: The location feels quite remote, and there is little in Largs itself (hence the popularity of the bar and restaurant most nights!) - other nearby places to the south along the coast offer better options. The train station into Adelaide is a short walk away, although the area around Largs itself is very industrial and not especially scenic.

Well located, superb staff, comfortable

Liked: All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, this was clearly a hotel philosophy and it showed. There was a comfortable ‘period’ feel, with the Victorian era architecture and decor. Meals were delicious and substantial. The waterfront location is prime.
Disliked: Minor issue with our bedroom heating which was immediately rectified.

Definitely stay again. Great value...

Liked: Location, size of room and property facilities were good. The room decoration was simple and understated yet welcoming.
Disliked: Unfortunately there had been a burst pipe the day we arrived so the hallway leading to our room was damp with carpet lifted and uneven. This was beyond the property’s control and being a weekend was obviously taking longer to repair.
