Lantern Inn & Suites - Sarasota

Liked: Pool; Tiki bar; proximity to LECOM Park; nice rooms and nice staff.
Disliked: None.

I would stay at Lantern Inn again.

Liked: Cleanliness; comfortable bed; friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Very clean and well appointed. Our room was quiet as it was around the side away from the bar and the main road.Tiki bar was great!!

DIDN'T EVEN STAY IN ROOM...

Liked: I didn't even stay in this room because it had hurricane damage and we're still doing work for damage to the building. Including sides of the building that had been torn off and water damage. I couldn't believe that it was even open because of this. They were rude and I still can't believe that I was charged for this. I never entered the room because of worries for my health due to this. Don't have anyone have to experience this. Along with the rudeness and because of me contacting my bank They threatened to call the police. I had just been released from the hospital and was no way going to do anything that threatens my health!
Disliked: Couldn't even stay in this hotel due to water damage and unhealthy conditions from the hurricanes that had hit Sarasota Florida.

Liked: This is a hit and miss hotel. It sometimes has long term tenants that make noise late into the even, or morning. The place is comfortable and priced reasonably for the area. Dont be afraid to ask for a different room if you get a bad one, they will usually accommodate you.

Liked: The location, close to my brother’s house since we spent Christmas Eve there.
Disliked: The smell in the room. Very strong musty smell. Also, we found a roach.
