Liked: The actual building was excellent, and the location was very good.
Disliked: The room was dark, and the view was disappointing! The sash window would not open! And the indoor window ledge was damaged! The breakfast was not very good at all. It looked as if it had been warmed up in the microwave? The sausage was tasteless, and the beans were very cheap tasting, and the coffee was very weak.

Had a lovely relaxing stay...

Liked: Lovely building , nice spacious room with great views . Comfortable bed . Nice bathroom and good shower . Tea, coffee and biscuits provided . Tv and little table and chairs to sit at . Handy park and ride bus that stops outside the hotel to save you walking up the hill from town .
Disliked: Bar prices very expensive !

It was ok , breakfast...

Liked: The location was ok , top of a steep hill , we were ok but people who struggled walking would have a problem
Disliked: The room was small , one wardrobe to hang your clothes in , may be enough for one person but definitely not for two

Disliked: Paying for parking - well situated for city centre but at the top of a long steep hill for getting back-

Lovely hotel, lovely location but...

Liked: About a 10 minute walk to the main Bath town. Lovely room with a door to the car park. Lovely shower room and bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee and kettle in the room. Nice tv on the wall. Fans and air conditioning in the room for hot days/nights
Disliked: Bit of warning that it was on a hill that takes 10 minutes or more to get up to the hotel when you walk. Once you've had a few drinks or meal in town the walk up the hill is horrible. Had sore legs by day 2.

Need a good deep clean...

Liked: The location. Although on a steep hill, but nice views of bath and only 10-15 minute walk to town. Bar was lovely and staff friendly. Nice selection of drinks. And nice outside terrace.
Disliked: Firstly we parked the in small car park across the road from the front of the hotel. There is a really bad ‘dog poo’ smell. Our room wasn’t the cleanest. What looked like something that comes out your nose on the wall (see photo). Bedding smelt like urine and shower glass towards the bottom all mouldy. Just needs a good deep clean. Breakfast. Both went for the full English. My partners was missing a mushroom. Both of our beans were cold and one of my partners poached eggs was more like a boiled egg without the shell (see photo). Disappointing.
