Liked: The location
Disliked: Tired, very tired hotel. The room was hot the windows didn’t open and the fan did nothing. Bed was tiny and the cost wow so overpriced. Staff were rude left us waiting to check in after a long day for over 20 minutes, told us cause we had to wait we could have breakfast on them only to be charged for it in the morning £25 for undercooked eggs, dry muffins and packet sauce. When questions we were told we were liars and that was never said. For nearly £300 for the night in disgusted!

Liked: Breakfast and location were very good..
Disliked: Car parking was extremely bad and the second night of our stay I had to park my car on the road outside the hotel, moving the car by 8 am or risk a parking fine. A parking fee of £15 per night did seem excessive for a very cramped car park. Very dated and cramped bedroom but the hotel was old.

Liked: The location was great 15min walk down into the city was perfect for our day of activitys
Disliked: I wasn't aware after the booking was made that I had to pay for parking, maybe £10 would be more acceptable for someone staying.

Liked: It was a lovely hotel, unfortunately it was a very hot day & there was no air conditioning so the room was very warm, but otherwise it was clean & comfortable. It is only a 10 minute walk to town centre but it is at the top of a large hill, but the bus also stops at the front so that is an option. The town was beautiful

Comfortable stay

Liked: Quiet location 10 minute walk from city centre. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order.
Disliked: Location up a steep hill but there was a bus from Milson street which stopped outside the hotel, no. 31 bus. No air con but a fan was provided which was welcome due the heatwave we gad over the weekend.
