Liked: The rooms were really nice for the price paid and even the common areas look amazing. The standard double room was already good, but we benefited from an upgrade because a problem with the AC in the room and thanks to the immediate help of the staff, the stay was even better in the junior suite. Location is convenient as it’s about 5min walk to the train station taking you to the city or 15minutes walk to canary wharf. Would definitely stay again.

Not value for Money

Liked: The room is clean and the location is a bit ok!
Disliked: Everything is money! I told them we would like to celebrate my 35th marriage anniversary, however, they said they need money to decorate. From my personal feeling, just little thing prepared is so warm to us, ie. just a chocolate, etc. On the other, regard the room, we reserved Octogon room, but the toilet is very small comparative to the room size! And the bed is not so comfortable! Lastly, the breakfast is only merely acceptable!

Liked: I like the victorian building and the hotel design room was okay bed wasn’t that comfortable to be honest.
Disliked: Spa facilities not great sauna was not switched on properly I went in at 7pm and it wasn’t hot I could not find anyone when I contacted them the next day they did not answer communication was not great I spoke to a lady and she mentioned I could use the spa the next day again I don not hear back from her.

Disliked: We got an upgrade which was very lovely of them, but I think the room I booked would if been better, we stayed in the loft room, lovely but bathroom quite small only 1 seat downstairs at the desk area, Aircon in the wrong place as it doesn't cool the bedroom area so was very hot... And to say it was a mini bar we only had 2bottles of water which I presume for the kettle and 8 little milks.. Breakfast was ok

Liked: The room was lovely, the staff was great and the food was very good
Disliked: Not enough staff for the spa facilities. I wanted facial and massage and was unable to have them to fulfil my relaxation.

Disliked: The receptionist told us there was no need to book a table at the restaurant, which turned out to be completely wrong...do book a table since it can get full
