Unfriendly staff, prejudice, dirty

Liked: On the boardwalk and close to the beach.
Disliked: We’ve stayed several times and always had a great experience. However, this time, there was an older lady with glasses at the desk that wasn’t very pleasant. She made us wait 5 minutes before coming out of the office to assist. The room was not ready on time and we were never contacted as told we would be. So we stayed on beach until 8pm before going back to ask. The room was not clean. There were handprints on the wall, dust galore, and sticky feeling inside the room. The bathroom was a scary place. Overall, the older lady mentioned above at the front desk seemed way more friendly to the white families vs me and my husband who are Hispanic and sort of felt like maybe she was prejudiced. We usually always sought after this property for the last 3 years to stay, however we won’t book here again.

Liked: The location was what we were looking for , had direct access to the boardwalk and beach from our room . Had a sitting area next to the boardwalk was private was nice to view ocean and restaurants and shops that the hotel had a cafe available too .

Historic hotel, small but great...

Liked: Lisa is a great receptionist and went the extra mile to accommodate us.
Disliked: No ice machine or water fountain

Great Stay!

Liked: Staff were nice and helpful, facility and room was clean, good location to the beach, good parking. Only thing I’d do different next time is call to book something that’s on a lower level. I had way too much stuff to carry up steps but it still wasn’t horrible. We would definitely stay here again!
