Liked: Fantastic hotel, picturesque location, rooms very spacious and comfortable with everything you need. The staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was spot on. Would certainly recommend.

Disliked: For the price the standard of food was very average to poor, probably due to having no local competition.

Not the best experience

Liked: Friendly manager, Louise was very helpful. The new bathroom in our room was good spec. Plenty of parking.
Disliked: Calvery was shocking, the man serving was even worse, over priced and basically unedible. Bar staff were friendly but had to go looking for them. Decor outdated. Needs painting. No music in the bar. Seating in the bar uncomfortable. Literally no atmosphere. Do not recommend for younger couples to go and stay here as not aimed at this generation.

Lovely location, lovely hotel with...

Liked: The staff were friendly, hotel was very nice and facilities were good especially as it was out of season , the pool was clean and warm, but the location was fab, the hotel grounds etc were all very well looked after it was a lovely stay.
Disliked: Extra cost for Breakfast shame it wasn’t included in the price for the room as it ended up being an expensive over night stay for myself and 2 children, but they did enjoy there breakfast and was a good selection so that was a bonus. The bed was alittle to firm and very creaky.
