Langshott Manor - Luxury Hotel Gatwick

Superb

Stay over night for airport.

Liked: The Manor is beautiful as are the surroundings. I upgraded to a luxury king room and it did not disappoint. The bathroom was wonderful and massive. It had a roll top bath, double sinks, toilet and bidet and the shower was huge with great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the black out curtains didn't let any light in whatsoever. It was so quiet in our room. We would not hesitate to stay again.
Disliked: I ordered the fillet steak for dinner and it was awful. It was just a plate of fat and the chips that accompanied it where also not good. I did not eat it but at least they didn't charge me for it. It's a shame as the starter was very nice so I had high expectations for the main.

Delightful, peaceful stay.

Liked: The house was a beautiful 17th-century timber-framed small manor house with a large car park and a secluded rear garden with a duckpond - ideal for a pre-dinner drink. The room was spacious with a view of the garden, and the en-suite had both a bath and a shower as well as two washbasins.We ate dinner at the hotel, and it was delicious. The wine list was shortish but well chosen and the service was attentive and not intrusive. Breakfast at the hotel was great, especially as it was cooked to order. Although the hotel is close to Gatwick you wouldn't know it - it was very quiet, inside and out.
Disliked: One thing: the bath plug had no chain, so we couldn't remove it after bathing! For the rest there was nothing to complain of at all.

Liked: Lovely old fashioned charm. Comfortable bed. Beautiful gardens
Disliked: It was a bit hot in the room and could not find a way to turn it down. Gravel carparks make it hard to move suitcases
