Långholmen Hotell is in a 19th century prison building on Långholmen Island in Stockholm. It offers free parking and unique prison cell rooms with flat-screen cable TVs and free Wi-Fi access. The modern rooms at Hotell Långholmen retain many authentic features. All have parquet floors and are equipped with a laptop safe and a desk. An attractive atrium gallery dating from 1866 is situated in the middle of the complex. Stockholm's most captivating prison museum is open daily and guided tours are given on weekends. Central hotel but in the...

Liked: Beautiful hotel in a wonderful place. The location is great, close to the center of tien byt very quuet
Disliked: The cells are very small and you need to be comfortable sleeping in a bunk bed.

Lovely location, fascinating gallery and...

Liked: The breakfast times over midsummer weekend were misleading and confusing- we almost missed breakfast altogether on the first day, along with other guests. Breakfast when we did have it was very good.
Disliked: Information should be clearer. Also the restaurant was not open over midsummer which was also disappointing.

Liked: Fantastic place! very clean & even though the cells are small its modern & lovely to stay. Breakfast is delicious, even with a garden to stay outside. Stuff is super friendly. Bicycles to rent - perfect

Great stay in wonderful surroundings

Liked: Always a lovely stay! Clean quiet and great breakfast. This time a staycation in the city with friends and family. Been here for conferences and weddings as well and always great! Clean rooms/cells and bathrooms and absolutely lovely surroundings with a swim or walk right around the corner but also city a short walk away. The museum is great and rises a lot of questions and good conversations with the kids about history, privilege then and now and right and wrong.
Disliked: The steak we had in the restaurant at night did not really meet our expectations but the kids meal, surroundings, great staff and good wine made up for it.
