Liked: This hotel is always very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The food is good as is the wine.

Beautiful hotel with a great...

Liked: The hotel has got a rustic old Landhaus flair and the food at the restaurant was very good. We learned that they offer cooking courses and similar events. On this particular evening they did a BBQ cooking course with about 10 people. We didn't see the actual cooking of the food but they all came into the restaurant to eat their own cooked dinner. Quite impressive I guess. The rooms were spacious and clean and very quiet.The breakfast buffet was plentiful in volume and choice.
Disliked: Only one remark to the way the cold platters are being displayed at breakfast. They are on trays in three rows from the edge of the buffet table to the wall and covered by glass lids that rested on in paper wrapped wine bottles. It is almost impossible to reach the trays in the back as the glass lid is not high enough and you will almost have to crouch to reach in by which you are almost leaning on the produce on the first two trays. I actually lifted one of the lids and almost make the whole structure collapse.

Liked: An original German Gastatte, if you like your experience to be Germany of the 1980s then this is for you. Big room with a balcony.
Disliked: Given that the opposition has moved on and updated you can get better for the same money, which I did the next night.

Superb

Liked: Friendly staff, comfy beds and we had a nice room with AC on the top floor
Disliked: Nothing. I was impressed with what we got for 3 stars
