Fantastic stay in relaxing surroundings

Liked: The hotel and the grounds were beautiful. Facilities were great and everything was clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and we loved the selection at the breakfast.

Liked: The hotel is wonderful, set in a beautiful area. We only stayed for a night so opted for the smaller rooms suggested for business travelers which were fine. Breakfast was very, very good, in fact better than many 5-star hotels I stayed at.
Disliked: The only thing that could be improved is the operating hours of the restaurant - we arrived at 9:30pm and it was already closed. But, the lady at reception made several calls until she found a place in town we could have dinner at.

Disliked: There was a miscommunication with the staff about breakfast times and that was kind of annoying.The room was small for that priceThe indoor pool was nice although it was small and kids were all day there and as a result I could visit it only during evening hours. Also not many options for lunch and dinner

Disliked: Very noisy. We could hear everything happening outside our room and adjacent rooms as if the wall was made of paper.We came for a weekend away for rest and relaxation, however despite a lovely massage we couldn't relax at the spa because there were many young children at the pool area running and yelling making. They kept entering the sauna area despite this being for adults only. No parental supervision nor hotel staff to enforce the rules. At a resort like this where people come to relax there should be better effort made by the hotel to ensure this is possible, and enforce spa rules. We were also disappointed with our evening meal. It definitely did not meet our expectations from seeing the menu and photos on their website. However breakfast was good, with plenty of selection.
