Located in the heart of the Lake District's mountains the Lancrigg is a 10-minute walk from Grasmere village. Lancrigg offers rooms with countryside views cafe and a bar. Free parking is available. Rooms at the Lancrigg are individually designed and feature bathrooms with baths and showers. Liked: The location is a short pleasant walk to the centre of Grasmere. It is a hidden gem, lovely grounds provided a peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings. Good for walking or just relaxing. I would definitely use this property again. Staff all very friendly

Beautiful Location, wonderful hotel

Liked: Perfect location. Lovely and peaceful. Beautiful scenery. Rooms were spotlessly clean and beautiful building
Disliked: It is maybe a personal thing but, whilst we know people like to take dogs on holiday, we didn't like the fact that dogs were allowed in the breakfast room.

Beautiful location and views -...

Liked: Beautiful location - so lovely to be in such a quiet and historic location - fabulous view from our window.
Disliked: The breakfast was cold and there were no berries and only a bowl of natural yogurt. We’re used to sour dough and Greek yogurt so that was disappointing.
