Liked: It was were the event was so very convienent l
Disliked: The room had no fridge and no AC it was very warm and humid during the day.

Disappointing

Faulty towers in real life.

Liked: I chose the hotel for access to an EV charger. When I couldn’t get the charger to work the concierge was dismissive & unhelpful - telling me it wasn’t his responsibility. Later that day I fell & twisted my ankle, staff bought ice 30 minutes after the incident - bit late!. My breakfast was delivered as only 1/2 the order by mistake & and my friend’s breakfast didn’t arrive at all. I honestly was expecting John Cleese to frog March in at any moment.
Disliked: Convenient location to stop travelling back from Scotland

Relaxing !

Liked: Friendly accommodating staff and a super location. Pool and hot tub not too busy which was great.
Disliked: The lighting in the bedrooms isn’t the best. A large main ceiling light would be a great addition.

Charming, ideally situated, somewhat dated.

Liked: The staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is charming, tranquil, unbeatably located if visiting the university, and has all the amenities one might need with a bar and restaurant on site. The cleaning staff did a great job and in the room you get complimentary water, tea/coffee, cookies, and a very cute fluffy dog for purchase (sadly I had no room left to take him).
Disliked: The rooms are beginning to show wear and tear. A few cracked tiles in the bathroom as well as lots of black discoloration on the grout in the bathroom, plus on the doors near the handles the paint is coming off. Also, no fault of the hotel, but the absence of climate control made for some very hot nights during a heatwave.
