The best part of our...

Liked: The location in an old historic house facing the water is fantastic. We ate at the "bar" and had breakfast each morning. The food was excellent. The room, while tight, was comfortable and more than met our needs.
Disliked: Climbing the stairs to get to the room was difficult for my mobility-impaired spouse. There are no guest rooms on the first floor. There was no cover to unload bags in the rain (which it did), and we got soaked rolling the bags from the parking lot in the back of the hotel to the entrance in the front. Then had to drag them up several stone stairs with no easy-to-get-to handrail.

Comfortable stay with a great...

Liked: The location is wonderful, with great views across Oban harbour. The breakfast was good and bed comfortable.
Disliked: The rooms are small and shower room particularly so - OK for us but not for an elderly person (or large person).

Liked: Great location. Beds clean and comfy. Breakfast excellent. Fantastic view of the bay.
Disliked: Everything ok for one night.

Liked: Good location, good views. Appreciated wear jacket being dried in the drying room
Disliked: Very uncomfortable bunk beds - the spring where through any padding.Two ladies had two dogs that were overbearing for the size of the lounge/reception.

Badly needs a makeover

Liked: Location and breakfast OK.But the premises show signs of decaying grandeur. The best days are gone, maintenance is just covering the cracks and the staff seemed dispirited.. It's cheap but not nasty
