Lakeview Motel is a Hidden...

Liked: We had an absolutely amazing time coming back to Lakeview Motel since our first trip back in 2022. The new owners are so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Always checking in and wishing you a good morning etc. The room we had was perfect for the 2 of us with a Queen bed, fridge (ours wasn't working at first but was promptly replaced by the amazing owners.) microwave, desk & TV and bathroom with shower. The ability to park right out front of your room was fantastic for both hanging out in the provided chairs or to take off for the day. We also loved having the option to use the pool, BBQing area and fire pit! We met some great new friends due to the fire pit option! To top it all off you're within 5 minutes drive to downtown restaurants, shops and beautiful lake huron. We will 100% stay here again in the future.
Disliked: The only 2 things we had to note was the beds are a bit hard but we always travel with a matress pad for this. And maybe a couple more towel hanging spots in the bathroom would be good.

Disliked: One piece of furniture was really shabby.

Decent value for the price...

Liked: Very convenient location and close to beach and downtown. Room was basic but very clean and quiet. Owner and his family were very friendly, hospitable and helpful! 😀
Disliked: Would be nice if the air conditioner was upgraded to cool down the room better on hot days.
