Pleasant and peaceful place to...

Liked: The location of the property was very pretty and grounds very well maintained. We were late arriving and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and provide the afternoon tea we had booked. Both the afternoon tea and breakfast were good.
Disliked: The Parkview building was old and in need of updating but the room was well decorated and beds comfortable.

Just a one night stop...

Disliked: Rooms could definitely need a referb

Quiet co.fortable stay with good...

Liked: It was quiet.It was nice to walk around the grounds. The room was clan and comfortable

Disliked: Did not feel safe in room at night because window was open for fresh air right next to door lock .My wife's evening meal was not cooked and the chicken was bland on complaining the vegetables were reheated in a microwave making them un edible ,although her meal was excluded from the final bill she was not offered an alternative meal .The breakfast choice was poor ,we sat in the breakfast room and had to listen to builders banging and moving equipment and swearing loudly. We asked for extra towels and milk for the room ,we were offered fresh milk in a jug which was totally unacceptable to be sat in a hot room ,we were eventually given some small sealed milk pots ,the staff's attitude made us feel an inconvenience.
