Great location, but it would...

Liked: Location
Disliked: The lady at the check in was not very friendly. The pool was closed. When asked about the amenities charge we were told it went towards electricity and water at the resort. My toilet paper roll was empty at check in and I had 1 kleenex in the holder. Also so much trash was by the doors for 3 days. I wondered if it was from people who checked out and the rooms were never cleaned.

Nice but had some issues.

Liked: The resort and pool area are awesome. Our king one bedroom suite was laid out so nicely and very comfortable mattress. Love the kitchen and spaciousness. Bathroom was large and nice. Restaurant was great. We stayed in the king one bedroom apartment suite on the ground level facing the pool and it was a convenient location.
Disliked: The bedroom did not have curtains, just blinds, and light poured in all night and we didn't sleep at all. We wanted adjoining room with our teens double queen room but it isn't laid out like that in the hotel. They were way down the hall. The king room adjoins other king rooms, which doesn't make much sense. A family would typically want a king apartment and double queens for their kids. There is no breakfast!! This was a huge deal for us. Why have a restaurant and not serve breakfast. Not even continental with muffins or juice? We had to doordash breakfast, big additional expense. Lastly, no lake access and really no lake view because of all the trees. The name of the hotel is Lakeside Lodge, so we just assumed there would be sweeping lake view and of course, lake access, but no. Disappointed- should offer kayaks and a dock etc. with a waiver that gets signed.

Liked: Clean bedroom with comfortable bed , and very clean bathroom. The location was good and convenient to shopping. The pool was nice, but crowded.
Disliked: The elevator was very messy. There was a spill of something (couldn’t identify what it was) and staff did not clean it up for hours.
