A fantastic stay and we...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and professional a special shout out to Ben. We loved having drinks on the terrace and the hotel is in a beautiful setting. The little touches such as the welcome drinks and the drive into town made our stay extra special.

Beautiful hotel in a great...

Liked: It was in a great location. Just a short walk to all of the shops, bars and restaurants.The hotel itself was stunning and all of the staff were welcoming and so friendly. We used the spa facilities which were lovely although very warm due to the heatwave the weekend we stayed. We ate in the Mizumi restaurant on the Saturday night (pre booked before our visit). The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. Had a beautiful meal and a few cocktails. I would definitely recommend.We stayed in an apartment which was situated above the pub/spa. It was really nice, very clean and had everything we needed (including tea/coffee and milk in the fridge). It was fine for three of us but could be a little cramped for four adults.
Disliked: The apartment was so warm due to the unusually hot weather. No air conditioning meant we were given a couple of fans which we left on all weekend. The heat made the bedrooms unbearable at times as they were on the higher floor. This wouldn’t be a problem during the usual British weather we are used to.

Liked: Lovely building, very smart. Nice room had everything we needed. Very clean
Disliked: When booking a room with a young family we weren’t informed of the restrictions for children such as no children in the pool/spa after 2pm and no dining in the restaurant for children under 12. Please don’t take it the ring way, i completely understand the rules but was disappointing to only find this out at check in time at 3pm or would have booked elsewhere as we only had one night in the area.

Liked: The breakfast and choice was absolutely amazing. The best we have had at a hotel. It was all fresh and constantly topped up. We had not planned to eat evening meals in the hotel, but the food was so good we ate there every night. The room too was fantastic, with plenty of space. Marc the concierge was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended some great walks suitable for us and the buses to get to them. The receptionists were also very welcoming showing us around the hotel and our room on arrival. The location of the hotel is good too, just a few minutes walk from the center and therefore not too noisy. A few days after we left I realised that I had left an expensive item of clothing behind. The hotel kindly arranged to post this home for me. We usually holiday in the Med but with the high temperatures we now get there during summer, decided to try the UK this year. We had such an enjoyable time will definitely be back next summer.
Disliked: There was nothing we did not like.
