Lovely all in all, lake...

Liked: Taste of the food (especially the steak and breakfast in the main restaurant), space of room, spa massage, location, walking around the lake, the amount of things to do around the lake, lovely views and the room hot chocolate,
Disliked: That there was no swimming pool in the spa facilities (the hot tub bath did made up for lack of swimming pool though), and the lack of food choices in the main restaurant - there were not many options that I would have gone for (the one option steak that I liked the sound of was exceptional though!). On the second night, I drove out for about 30 minutes and found a fabulous inn called ‘The Stumble Inn’ - scrumptious homemade food from the starters through to the pudding!!! I would highly recommend this!!

Liked: The location was beautiful and room had a nice bath.
Disliked: Dirty, dusty full of cobwebs and dead bugs. Health and safety standards outdated. Received a very bad burn on my thumb from pull down lamp in room. Staff were not very caring about my issues. Emailed hotel and booking.com and nothing was resolved so unfortunately has resulted in a poor review.

Disliked: Food not great , breakfast was only OK.No choice of breads .Only packaged white and brown.Bacon very thick and undercooked.Muffin was not toasted so very dense and unappealing.
