Disliked: Limited coffee, cooking setup. Spring season so no restaurants open.

Liked: Very basic motel. Expensive for what you get.
Disliked: Beds were too soft.No food available anywhere in the area.

Shabby, old, overpriced and rude...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: It’s shabby, the beds are OLD, the furniture cheap and worn. It’s loud with road traffic. The check in staff are rude and dismissive. There’s no room cleaning service or fresh towels AND there’s an “environmental impact fee” of $11.20 tacked on that is not mentioned at booking. It’s an upcharge left over from the pandemic that management is unwilling to let go because it’s easy money. There are NO restaurants and one crappy overpriced market. Gas is $650/gal in Lee Vining. Seriously, don’t stay here, there are other options (barely) but worth skipping Lee Vining altogether and driving to the next town over.

Nice option, especially for hikers.

Liked: This is a nice motel. A little dated, but the rooms are big.
Disliked: The bed was too soft and the message from the motel had me believe there was nothing open in town so we planned accordingly. However there was a general store w bakery open and a restaurant nearby.

Liked: The staff were polite and helpful.
Disliked: The rooms are advertised to be a lot better on the booking.com app. For instance, the room is supposed to have a balcony, adn I don't think the outside stairwell really counts as a balcony.
