Excellent stay!

Liked: I loved how close we were to Lake Erie. The room was clean and had a full kitchen stocked with cookware. Amy was great to work with and an excellent host. You are within walking distance to Marblehead Lighthouse and 15 minutes from Easr Harbor fishing access and beach. I would book here again and again.

Fantastic, I return every summer!!

Liked: This is my annual summer escape. I found the perfect retreat! Every aspect, from the stunning view and serene location to the excellent management, contributed to a truly relaxing experience. It's an ideal place to unplug and recharge, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Disliked: No complaints here, everything was perfect!

I would not choose to...

Liked: Four pros--close to the Lake Erie shore, a cheaper price than anywhere else (though much higher than it should have been for the condition of the room!), an air conditioner that worked wonderfully, and a mostly clean room.
Disliked: These rooms are so small and we had four people! The room should have only been a two person with one double/queen bed. My husband estimated the main bathroom area with a sink and toilet to be 4 ft square as well as a VERY small stand-up shower to the side of that! You nearly hit your knees on the bathroom door when sitting on the toilet!! And NO bath exhaust fan!! So there were damp spots on the walls and ceiling around the shower.The one wifi unit for the guest rooms happened to be in our unit and lighted up our room at night with a garish blue light that made it hard to sleep soundly. The second night we put a plastic bag around it to block some of the light which helped some. Mini fridge wasn't level, and the door scraped the floor when you would open it. The windows were very dirty. Everything was painted a heavy, bright "tropical" teal color including the three windows on the very old wooden inside entrance door! A couple peepholes had been scratched out to see out. In general the whole place had a very rundown appearance. No smoking signs on the rooms were ineffective because the office smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke, it nearly choked you when you opened the door. The towels that came to the rooms had a sickly smokey odor from that, which they had tried to cover with a sweet soap or dryer sheets. The smoke detectors were way outdated in the room. We kept killing earwigs that got in somewhere. We were thankful to only be there at night for showers, sleeping, and eating breakfast, which, by the way, was not included either. We had to provide our own food.
