Great location, clean and comfortable...
Liked: Great location, very clean and very friendly staff.
Disliked: It’s a nit pick but the breakfast was pretty weak. The ham slices were paper thin and dry.

Hotel it's self was nice,...
Liked: Breakfast didn't have many hot options, most hotels have several? No pool or hot tub which wasn't happy about, room was lovely, but I asked to be cleaned after 2 days, my husband had spilled granola all on the carpet but they didn't vaccum, they did clean bathroom and made beds. For the money was a little disappointed, also the exchange cost me another $230.00 canadian for 3 night stay.
Disliked: look above

If your a travel Minimalist,...
Liked: Speaking to a general audience, if one desires a place to sleep only, the Lake Placid Inn's saving grace is its proximity to the Village and venues. We are in our 70s, yet we can walk through the Village and back to the inn leisurely and safely. Tourist-type driving within the Village portends a nightmare. Public parking is virtually nonexistent. Therefore, it proved beneficial to the hotel within the Village proper. The friendly and competent staff did their best to ensure a comfortable stay.
Disliked: We were unfamiliar with the "boutique" hotel concept. Think Minimalist, munchkins, and Lilliputians. That is to say, it lacks basic room amenities such as sitting chairs and space, a desk or computer area, and typical USB or USB-C charging ports. The initial room was a one-queen bed. To say the room is cramped is an understatement. A Sardine might find comfort. Other than a tiny chair, there is no place to sit, no place conducive to conversation, and no desk to write. If one suffers chronic back pain, arranging the Inn's four (4) pillows in a square proved helpful. We travel with our pillows. Charlie, the morning front desk manager, understood our plight and upgraded us to a double queen room. Great! Until it was time to sleep. The bathroom light would not turn off!

Liked: Very clean rooms with keurig machine and super nice and updated bathroom. The staff was welcoming and the free breakfast was great! Location was also ideal as it’s super close to Main Street with a bunch of cute stores.
Disliked: Nothing to comment actually, very happy with our stay.
