Lake Lounge Rooms

Very good

Liked: Location was central and a lovely place to be. Staff were great. Our room was decent.
Disliked: Not much really.

Superb

Liked: We didn't know anything about the Lake Lounge rooms because we picked it at the last minute to stop near a wedding venue. The place was great , the atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed being there. Would recommend it to anyone.
Disliked: Nothing

Nice bed, very small en-suite.

Liked: Parking was not great, a space at the back that had no parking structure. Cars blocking you in and difficult to manoeuvre.
Disliked: Car park.

Liked: View was good. Room was clean, bed comfortable.
Disliked: Room very small, bathroom even smaller - not enough room for a towel rail, so nowhere to put wet towels.Quite a lot of noise from outside late at night.Not sure it was value for money as it was room only, and we had to pay for parking in the public carpark, because there was no room in Lake Lounge's carpark.

Liked: The staff seemed friendly
Disliked: Music till 1am and really loud and boisterous. Hot room but windows had to be kept closed due to traffic and party revellers. Strong smell of bleach and overall felt grubby. The shower was hanging off the wall and despite the black grouting the grubbiness couldn’t be disguised. Will never return

Disliked: Didn’t enjoy my stay, glad it was just for work and two nights. Room tiny, shower cubical to small, carpet very dirty, room was not cleaned, i left my used towels on the floor in the shower cubical, coffee cup etc, all still there and bin not emptied when i got back. In general, not a great experience, seem to be just young kids running the bar/hotel etc
