Get out there and listen...

Liked: The location is extremely comfortable, next to a supermarket and right across the beach. There is also a fantastic deck, well equipped, where you can enjoy listening to the sea.
Disliked: At the time I was traveling there were some renovations going on.

Liked: Breathtaking view of the ocean. The hotel itself with its numerous rooms facing the ocean. The little calming relaxing music. AWESOME staff! So kind, so welcoming. Thank you for making me feel welcomed.

My first stay will not be my last. We plan on going back... and Often :-)

Liked: I knew about the area and age of the hotel before I stayed at the hotel. It is older, eclectic, practical, and perfect if you want a beach surf stay. We had a junior suite-type room with a private balcony overlooking the beach. Sleeping at night and hearing the surf crash on the beach is perfect. It is primal and satisfies the soul at a basic level that fully refreshes the body. The room was clean and the hotel service was great. This is an older building so it is not ADA friendly which is typical for buildings in the area. There are no elevators that I am aware of nor expected for sea views.
Disliked: I cannot think of anything. There is no room service. However, there are plenty of local eateries within a quick 5 or 10 minute walk from morning to late at night.

Phenomenal view! Renovated rooms will be nice.

Liked: The view was phenomenal. The room was dated, but that's why we got a good deal I believe. They're renovating the rooms and ours hadn't been renovated yet. It was clean and comfortable enough and we weren't there for the room anyway. Nothing could beat the view. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Also the decks for patrons on the different levels were so inviting with fire pits and comfortable seating while watching sunsets or surfers.
Disliked: The room needed updating, but they're getting to it. I will say the path down to the beach wouldn't be good for out of shape or elderly folks. It's a hike down to the beach and up to the upper rooms, but it was fine for our family.

Liked: love the location love the staff. sad to see the upgrades do not include televisions. we always stay super bowl weekend. i love the beach and shops and my husband watches the game on tv. we have stayed here 4 years a couple times each winter coming from Canada. Sad that we wont return.
