Liked: Nice accommodation. Spa and pool good. Location was what we paid for
Disliked: Shower didn’t work. Had to call for help at 10 pm. $400 a little steep for a room here

An old-fashioned hotel in lafayettte

Liked: The hotel is located in the town of Lafayetter, east of Berkeley. The rooms are large, two large beds, storage etc, with a decent size bathroom.
Disliked: The old- fashioned approach to everything does not suit my taste. The room is very dark during the day (not enough natural light) and at night (very inadequate electric lighting). The beds are too soft for me. The hotel is also too expensive for my purpose.

Liked: Beds and pillows were wonderful. So comfortable - so important. Room was clean. So was the hotel over all.
Disliked: Nothing really, I totally recommend. We didn’t see the pool or spa and the restaurant was good, so was the food, our waitress was great but they were under staffed and so service was slow but not really a big deal, just mentioning.
