Lafayette Hotel Marietta

This was our first time at the Lafayette Hotel. Everything was great. Will stay again.

Liked: The nostalgia of the hotel was great.
Disliked: None.

Loved the hotel and location. Would stay there again if I could get a larger room.

Liked: Beautiful woodwork in the room. Very professional and friendly staff. Loved the history of the hotel.
Disliked: Room was very small and smoke alarm would go off every time I took a shower.

Day visit next time. Loved...

Liked: Close to venue for my birthday.
Disliked: The odor in the room. Musty smell set off allergies that led to major migraine and the loud windows to traffic.

We would stay there again.

Liked: Centrally located.Excellent breakfast. The staff were very helpful. A great place of historical significance.

Nice hotel but disappointing

Liked: I booked a king with sofa bed. I got a king small room, did not match the description at all. Very disappointing. Had to find somewhere else to get ready the room was tiny with 1 king bed. Put a dent in my girls trip, trying to figure things out. Recieved a small refund and will be here in 15 days for me being lied to. Not cool!

Liked: Loved the history of the hotel. The furnishings are beautiful throughout the hotel, including the room. Helpful tips provided by the staff. Breakfast in the Gun Room was good. Requested a river view and got it.
Disliked: The hair dryer in my room was not working, but was able to air dry with an open window.
