In 5 acres of woodland overlooking the World Heritage Site Ironbridge Gorge Ladywood House offers well-appointed rooms around 10 minutes' walk from the town's riverside pubs and restaurants. There is free parking and WiFi at this Shropshire bed and breakfast. Each room has a flat-screen TV with DVD player wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. There is also an en suite bath or shower. Breakfast is served each morning at Ladywood House. Packed lunches are also available on request at an additional cost. Ironbridge is home to a number of museums documenting its industrial history including Enginuity and the Museum of the Gorge. The 52-acre Blists Hill Victorian Town offers an insight into 19th-century life and is a 5-minute drive away.

Lovely house & garden in...

Liked: Great location for Ironbridge itself. House & garden were charming & very clean, & the host was very welcoming. The breakfast was very good
Disliked: Booking .com’s incomplete description of the room meant I ended up sleeping in a bunk bed. I don’t like instant coffee!

Quirky property in the heart...

Liked: Tom was a lovely host and very willing to help in any way he could. The room was compact but had everything we needed. The location was excellent - only a short walk from Ironbridge and its museums and very close to the disused railway which can be used by pedestrians and cyclists to get to Bridgnorth. If you like quirky properties with a relaxed atmosphere then this is for you. The decor maybe in need of updating but as it stands you get good value for money with a lovely breakfast so I won’t be complaining about that.

Great weekend stay.

Liked: Old but interesting. Very comfortable beds and everything we needed. Host very friendly and breakfast excellent!
Disliked: Steep driveway!

Book yourself into this beautiful...

Liked: This is a beautiful B & B situated in a stunning part of the countryside, in a famous destination village. The bedroom was most comfortable with everything that one would need. The host was most attentive and served up a scrumptious brekkie for me. I have no hesitation in recommending this B & B to other prospective clients.
Disliked: There was nothing I did not like.

Disliked: The drive on one side of the property was steep but there was an alternative
