Amazing
Liked: I loved the location. The room was clean and the bed was comfy so that’s all I need
Disliked: I was confused whether the bottles of water near the bed were complimentary or not so might be worth just adding that to the mini bar price list that they are free

Comfortable bed and great location.
Liked: The location and being dog friendly. The breakfast host in the Cock and Hoop was great, very friendly and informative.
Disliked: The decor and furniture in the room was tired and definitely in need of an update. The air con system grille was full of dust and wouldn’t switch off. The tea and coffee provided hadn’t been replaced or checked, as it was full of herbal. We booked a dog friendly room but hadn’t been left any dog bowls or complementary treats. All in all for the price paid I was left a little disappointed.

Nice hotel, near train station...
Liked: Nice quieter location, but within minutes walk of Nottingham town centre. easy check in, friendly staff clean room, plenty of space. Nice little pub attached where we had a decent breakfast (£18ea) all pastries, toast, cereals, fruits etc help yourself, choice of cooked breakfast too.
Disliked: No parking so you have to use council or private car parks nearby, we used the recommended Lace Market car park which cost £36 for 2 days. We were in room 203 2nd floor and were directed to use the lift up, which is fine, but when we came back that night we got stuck in the lift for a while as it's doors closed but didn't move and doors didn't reopen. We tried to find stairs to get up to our room but there's 2 halves to this hotel and the stairs by the lift don't go to 2nd floor, there was no-one at reception to ask, so after wandering around for quite a while we had to go to ask the pub staff who reluctantly showed us the fire exit stairs we could use as the lifts not working. We suggested that reception should let guests know this in the future. The bar was quite noisy so suggest asking for a quiet room if you want to stay. We had to ask for extra tea, coffee and milk for the rooms as that hadn't been restocked.

Great location, good breakfast and...
Liked: Great location in the centre of the city with lovely surrounds. Great view of the nearby church from the window. Breakfast was of good quality.
Disliked: Shower was difficult to get working properly, but no other issues.
