Convenient, comfortable, good value, clean,...
Liked: Historic, quiet, central, main route to Castle, next door to St Mary’s Church, national justice museum opposite, caves and art gallery metres away. Fabulous!
Disliked: Room could have done with a little TLC but a bargain so not really complaining. We didn’t try breakfast so can’t comment.

Outstanding stay in Nottingham
Liked: Lace Market Hotel is in a quiet area ten minutes walk from the city centre, five minutes walk from Nottingham Arena and three minutes walk from Lace Market NCP Car Park.Due to a late booking we had two rooms, a superior double on the second floor overlooking the street (very quiet) and the Studio on the third floor overlooking the street and the church adjacent to the hotel. Both rooms were superb, large/very large, air conditioned, mini bar/fridge and comfortable.Breakfast was in the adjoining pub, there was plenty of choice and a variety of seating options - we sat in the lower cellar area. Food was excellent and there was plenty of choice on the continental or cooked breakfast. There are plenty of places to eat and drink within 200 metres and the nearest tram stop is Lace Market, five minutes walk.Staff were superb, our move between rooms was completed early the next morning which was outstanding.
Disliked: Nothing. There is no on site parking and there are double yellow lines outside the hotel. Lace Market NCP car park, three minutes walk can be pre-booked on-line with NCP. From the hotel entrance turn left and left again into West Gate, walk 100 metres and at the next left turn in the pedestrian zone the car park is 20 metres to the right.

Funky city hotel!
Liked: The hotel was very funky and in a great location.
Disliked: The rooms seemed a bit tired and not very clean (there was makeup on the mirror that was not mine when we checked in), one of the blinds was broken in the room - not dealbreakers but not ideal!
