Laburnum Guest House at Bistro En Glaze

Liked: I loved the room, tv was good, bed was lovely, bathroom was lovely, even had a fridge and a freezer which we weren’t expecting! Dressing table was perfect as it had a big light up mirror. The view from the room was nice and overlooked the little garden with tables, chairs lots of greenery and a little herb garden. Location was nice, near the river and had some pubs and cafes on the doorstep.The food was LOVLEY and the service was brilliant! The funniest thing was that we had to move table as there was a huge spider in the corner on the wall, but I don’t blame the restaurant we were close to the door and it could have easily got in from the garden and the staff had a laugh with us about it as they were terrified of it tooDon’t worry it’s not still there, my partner got rid of it cos it was distracting him from his baked Camembert (which was delicious)
Disliked: Needed a blind or some kind of net curtain in the window as everyone sitting outside could see in when I was getting ready when the curtains were open to let in cool air and daylight Not great parking but got lucky with a space on the road a minute away.

Liked: We had the family room. Gave us extra space. A FABULOUS bathroom and very comfortable bed. The restaurant was a bit pricey but the food was sensational. Staff were above courteous and accomodating
Disliked: Everything was a perfect start to our holiday. Certainly raised the bar.

Liked: Very spacious attractive room, comfortable and well appointed. Good on street parking. Efficient staff. All in all a pleasant stay in an excellent location.
Disliked: Fairway and hall could do with a clean up.

Liked: The host was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you.The room was very well equipped and very peaceful for a great night's sleep.
Disliked: Food in the Bistro was amazing but for the price we paid we think Breakfast should have been included.
