Disliked: We have arrived by car. The declared parking was important. I was badly surprised what one hour after booking I have receive the message that parking is not available. Parking cost increase our trip price on 26,50 euros. In this case I will chose an other hotel.

Liked: Coffee machine was great.
Disliked: Minimal tea/ coffee provided. Only 2 sugar sachets, no milk (when asked staff they smiled and said no milk). Coffee costs $2 for each extra pod. One bath towel provided. Took 2 requests for another to be provided. Was advised car parking was available 100m away but in actual fact it was 400m away. Fire alarm went off @ midnight and no staff provided any feedback as we were all left standing in the foyer/hallway. The bathroom basin is located in the shower enclosure.

Liked: The central location. Nice room & a good breakfast.
Disliked: There was a mix up with our room on arrival, also the parking facilities are not adequate. 4 spaces but not really roomfor four so that was a drama back & forth with another guest to fit ours in!! Only 1 cup in our room for 3 people & no milk for the coffee.

Liked: Location was excellent, opposite the Lille Flanders train station.My room was excellent the bed very comfortable large size tv and kettle. The bathroom again excellent with a great shower.
Disliked: My choosing was pay at property and free cancellation. On occasions the property may take a small amount and the balance on arrival with a date provided. No date provided and money was tried to be taken, so not to lose my booking I transferred money which was taken.On my arrival I was informed I had to repay as they didn’t have my money and I would be refunded on check out. They said this was a normal procedure but i had never heard of this, they said it was in case i failed to show or did damage to the room! I had a free cancellation charge anyway, in the end I contacted my bank they said my money was pending but with hotel information they would cancel and refund my money so I could pay at reception. The hotel was not happy a call to the “boss” was made and I finally after paying city tax was allowed into my room this taking over an hour to conclude. Not a great service or start to my stay. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and bacon as hot options these generally were finished my 08.30 with no more being cooked as only one staff member who had to cook clean and refresh. We had no milk for cereals the fruit bowl was nearly empty so had to get down extra early just to insure I got a breakfast.
