Too noisy to stay due...

Disliked: The 2 room apartment was inside the remade barn with very squeaky doors. When we stepped in to the apartment the smell was very heavy. The smaller room was impossible to breathe . It was only 1 AC for the whole apartment in the leaving room!!! Bedrooms had very noisy fans impossible to sleep with. The temperature was very high at the time we stayed up to 94-96F It was very hot to sleep even with doors open to leaving room !2. Nowhere to hang clothes in the second bedroom and no dresser. 3. No hanging shelves in the bathroom where you can put soap, shampoo etc. All bottles should either be kept on floor while taking shower or outside the shower which is very inconvenient . 4. No broom to clean the dirt on floor 5. No sponge for washing cups6. Couple cups were dirty and we had to rewash them. Coffee supply was good and coffee was good .7. The most important reason why we had to leave / check out early is due the high noise from the construction below our apartment. It was impossible to stay due to the drilling noise. We had to leave earlier. The only reason I gave 2 stars but no 1 is only because the stuff was nice and helpful

Beyond expectations

Liked: The yellow barn suite was fantastic!! We really enjoyed the rural vibe and the ample space.

Lovely little hotel

Liked: Everything was excellent about this hotel, we wished we had stayed longer. The staff were friendly and very helpful with information about the area and restaurants. We decided to stay and eat at the hotel and the food was surprisingly good. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The walk at the back of the hotel (The buttermilk falls state park) was worth doing.

Very comfortable stay near Ithaca...

Liked: Very spacious and comfortable room. Well-appointed bathroom with plenty of hot water. Filtered water bottle taps. Well maintained coffee and tea station in lobby. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice spa gift shop. Relaxing outdoor seating.
Disliked: Just a couple minor areas for improvement: Hair dryer needs replacement, would have been nice to have a small freezer in the mini fridge to chill ice packs.

Disliked: The breakfast that was offered, a poor selection of products laid out on the bar .No proper plates , dishes or cutlery just cardboard plates and plastic knives and forks.The images show on your Web site at the time of booking didn't reflect reality.Also the cost of the accommodation we feel was far beyond what it was worth.
