Very good stay in this...
Liked: Stayed for one night in this delightful 'beau village' which remarkable for its old buildings including chateau and cobbled streets. The hotel is in the centre and parking is at either end. We were able to drop off and park at one end but I am not sure of the usual arrangements. We had the splendid and quirky suite(Louis XV) at the front of the building with loo in attached octagonal tower(sic). The staircase access is steep and windy. The restaurant below provided either a Breton menu or a formule and what we had was good.Walking around the village in the morning sunshine was very special.
Disliked: Access is a steep staircase. The village is quite touristy and I expect busy in high season.

Good
Liked: The location is perfect, beautiful historic property in the heart of the village. To wake up there and look out in the morning is just magic. The rooms are quirky , we stayed in the Napoleon room, the bathtub is in the room, with a separate toilet. We didn't eat here, we had a long drive the next day and breakfast didn't start early enough for us.
Disliked: It is to be expected when staying in a historic property that the stairs would be quirky , no lift etc. but the stairs were incredibly steep and no railing on some parts, very creaky wooden stairs . I am sure we woke other guests when we were leaving because it's so loud! Also the lighting is quite low. Very little interaction with the staff.

When staying in Medieval town...
Liked: The very large room was a wonderful trip back in time with historical paintings on the walls and frescoes on the ceiling. I’m not sure what century I was sleeping in, but I woke up ready to go hunting. The shower was modern, the bed big and cozy, and everything was clean. Staff was exceptionally nice. Good restaurant featuring crepes, crepes and crepes. We had a fun time.
Disliked: Getting in and out of the hotel when the restaurant is open is a little weird and for those with mobility issues be forewarned, access to the rooms are via a steep spiral staircase.
