Hotel Description
Set in a beautiful village this listed residence with granite facades dating from the mid-16th-century welcomes you in an historic setting. Each of the 5 guest rooms at the La Tour du Lion evokes a specific period through refined decoration. Hence a four-poster queen bed with royal ermine patterns in the Anne de Bretagne room or woodwork gildings and eagles in the Emperor's room. Just outside the property a stunning garden faithfully maintains the tradition of this flowering city.

It was only one night...

Liked: The hotel was in really nice condition - old but charming, clean and really well presented. We didn't eat at the restaurant but drinks in the courtyard were delightful and breakfast was very nice. Staff were super friendly, although the fact my companion spoke fluent French was a bonus as there could have been difficulties communicating otherwise.

Charming, beautiful, authentic and will...

Liked: It is an amazing place in an evenly beautiful village! The rooms are exceptionally decorated with very original touches! Outside space of terrace and garden are exceptional little havens! Staff were kind, attentive!
Disliked: Our room Napoleon, although exceptionally big and beautiful has the bath in the room; also this room is on the second floor with steep staircases and was not ideal with the dog!

Really lovely stay

Liked: Great location in the heart of this beautiful old village. The host and staff were very attentive and we enjoyed the laughter and relaxed feel of the place. Our Louis 1V room was amazing with paintings on the ceiling. Whole decor was enchanting. Food was delicious and eating outside a bonus. We loved it here.
Disliked: Parking was a little way from the hotel but understandable in this very old beautiful village

Nice location but customer service...

Liked: Nice garden, good food and a nice breakfast
Disliked: The customer service for the hotel. The property is basically a restaurant with a few rooms. The whole focus is on the restaurant. We had a major problem on arrival, because of road closures and we didn’t know how to find the recommended car park. The hotel refused to help us because they were too busy with the restaurant.
