A quick overnight stay in...

Liked: Ae arrived at 11:30, and were told checkin was 3PM. At 1PM they gave us our room; and we took long needed naps. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent.

Disappointing honeymoon start

Liked: Location, friendly staff.
Disliked: We stayed here previously and had none of these issues, so we rebooked for our honeymoon. I wish I could go back and tell myself to leave upon checkin. To start off, the room isn’t even as advertised in the pictures. Half of the furniture has been removed as well as all carpets, tissues, bath mats, framed artwork, and all but two towels and wash clothes, leaving for a very empty looking and feeling room with very slippery floors. They ask you upon arrival to not flush toilet paper, but rather throw it out in the provided trash cans that have no lid. This is not sanitary. I understand the plumbing issues as it’s an old building but you have to adapt and get trash cans with lids, rather than charging people to stay in the same room as an open bin with poop. To pair with that, the hot water does not work. We talked to the front desk and they said maitenence was on the way but it never reached above lukewarm. Not a hot shower the full four nights.To top it all off, the “super fast wifi” they advertise was barely working well enough to watch a single episode of a tv show, despite the WiFi transmitter being 4 feet away. I should have asked for a refund right away but figured it might get better, as we had a positive experience here in Nov 2023, but this was an immensely disappointing way to start our honeymoon. Cancelled our two night stay for the way back from St Thomas to stay somewhere that will hopefully provide even basic essentials.

Liked: Old and lack of care. A lot of mold everywhere. And they need to upgrade the elevator
