Reminded me so much of my own home. A little run down, but that can be said for every single bit of Philadelphia I saw. I think it added to the homey feeling. Spacious room. Very clean. Firm mattress. Each member of the staff we encountered was friendly. They answered our questions, made good suggestions, and helped us avoid getting lost in the city. I've had better continental breakfasts but the cooked breakfast was tasty if a little small. The breakfast chef has a great personality. I don't frequent Philly but I will be looking to stay here on my next visit.
Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Continental breakfast was meh. Cooked breakfast was much better but too small.

La Reserve is a very lovely Bed and Breakfast. The staff at La Reserve helped me find my way around Philadelphia. The breakfast on Saturday was delicious. I had a wonderful visit and was able to attend a concert at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby.
Liked: Spacious, beautiful bedroom at an affordable price.
Disliked: Too many attractions nearby and not enough time.

Liked: It is located in the historic neighborhood. Quiet and convenient. Within walking distance to many restaurants, museums and shopping. I feel so wonderful that the host has upgraded us to king deluxe. The room is clean and well organized. The breakfast service is excellent, which makes us feel like home. Overall, it is a great idea stay and we will definitely come back when we visit Philly next time!

La Reserve Bed and Breakfast...
Liked: I loved the aesthetic, my breakfast was delicious, the staff was accommodating, flexible with checking in and out and my room was clean. The location is probably the best thing about the place it is a short walk to the Mutter Museum, the liberty bell, a short drive to the Rocky Balboa steps, and a short drive to Edgar Allan Poes house.
Disliked: The parking wasn't as convenient as I would have liked, but it's the city after all so I can't fault them for that.

Liked: I loved the location. It was so easy to walk to everything and the parking garage was close and reasonably priced. Be warned though you do need cash for the parking garage- no credit cards accepted. I also loved the host she was sweet and very accommodating. She even made us a yummy brunch after getting in on a a red eye flight even though she certainly didn?t have to!

Liked: Greeting: Maria was warm and inviting and made you feel at home right away. Check in was easy and she showed us where everything was. Room: Beautiful and historical furnishing and architecture. We had the bathroom to ourself and it was lovely. Breakfast: I love breakfast and had to have it where I was staying. This was way better than staying in a commercial hotel. On weekdays, it is continental with anything you would want. Cereal, oatmeal, boiled eggs, frittata, fresh fruit, homemade scones, coffee, tea, juice, milk, water. Location: Rittenhouse Square and the surrounding area is beautiful and has plenty of restaurants, bars, and historic streets and houses. We rented Indego bikes that were stationed a block away from the B&B to explore the rest of the city.
Disliked: I don?t have any complaints.
