The start of my night I checked in at La Quinta Manassas. I had booked a king bedroom suite and was surprised to find two twin beds in my room. I had spoken to the very unfriendly concierge and was told there was nothing they could do about it and that I had to contact the site I booked it with. Frankly that's a pain in the ass so I dealt with it. I went to an event that night that was interrupted by phone calls asking when I planned on checking in. At this point I had been checked in for six hours. So I dealt with the friendly and helpful Kelvin on the phone. Apparently I was checked in as the wrong person, even though ID and credit card was provided. Later that night I got a call saying my card was invalid. I gave them my card number. The next morning apparently there was still an issue with my card. So I gave it to them once again and in turn was charged twice for a room I didn't even reserve. Employees like Kelvin were very helpful and kind. The other employees seemed like they could not be bothered and were unfriendly to say the least. I am very unhappy with this experience.

Disliked: Just about everything.

Liked: The room was very clean and taken care of. The complimentary breakfast was very good, everything was stocked and ready to go when we got there. The employee helping us, Hannah, was very good at her job, super pleasant and very helpful. We were very happy with our stay

Liked: Room was nice enough. Breakfast was okay.
Disliked: Front desk receptionist rolled her eyes and was rude regarding any request, including when we had to switch rooms because our first room shower wouldn't drain and the a.c. housing kept falling open. Second room had mold in shower, didn't even complain because we didn't want to deal with her. Hotel is under Reno and staff ignored fact that literally walls are missing and there are fans everywhere, not a big problem but simple explanations go a long way. Over all facilities were tolerable but staff was not.

Disliked: When we checked in, they were sweeping out water from the lobby, the elevators weren't operating (I'm an amputee that refuses to do stairs), they offered me a room on the 3rd floor. There were multiple "troubles" on the fire alarm panel and the Fire Marshall placed them on a fire watch due to no fire protection. The night manager was constantly whining about how bad of a night he was having, no hospitality at all...

Liked: The room in general.
Disliked: The guy in Fron desk named Kevin.. The worst welcome in a hotel.. Was rude with me.. Never in my life happened for this situation I alert that for the next clients.. Breakfast is ok. Could be better.
