Great location - close to venue, close to restaurants and things to do. Favorite place to stay now in Dallas.
Liked: Great location; friendly staff; nice sized room; comfortable bed; great price.

I would not ever return to stay at the Hotel Lawrence, nor recommend this hotel to a friend.
Liked: Close to Palladium Ballroom.
Disliked: Ugly and small rooms; A/C doesn't work; not worth $100 a night. Charged us 1/2 day for "late-check out" claiming that they were completely booked the next day, which was evidently a lie. Poor customer service - the lady at the front desk had a poor attitude.

Way overpriced for what was offered.
Liked: Nostalgic feel was fun.
Disliked: Unfriendly, condescending staff; poor parking; poorly maintained; did not have my wine of choice at the bar; breakfast was cold.

Liked: Staff friendly, room was comfortable and price was affordable.
Disliked: Food was too processed - no real meat, fake potatoes & eggs. Boiled eggs were okay. Need free parking.

Liked: Excellent Location. Newer renovation. Helpful Staff.
Disliked: Thin walls. We did stay during NYE, so noise is to be expected. There was a party on our floor between 3-4 room until 4:00am that was Extremely loud in the hallways & rooms. Again, this was NYE so not a great example of the hotels typical operation.

Liked: Convenient to downtown
Disliked: Unprepared and unfurnished

Disliked: Crampt. Terrible shower. Trickle. Felt clostraphobic. Also nice staff but no local knowledge. Self service system in foyer hopeless. Got more help from Uber drivers.

Liked: Check-in was quick and the staff was kind
Disliked: The parking situation is very poor. You can either use city parking and be subjected to metered rates, or use valet parking at $30/night. Meanwhile, the hotel next door has a whole parking garage. The room was small and cramped, and the towels were scratchy and worn. Breakfast is also only served for two hours. It would have been nice if it were extended for another hour to accommodate late-night travelers.

I'd go back just to...
Liked: Absolutely the most comfortable bed I have ever slept it .... including my own !
Like sleeping in a cloud !
Great breakfast, situated right near 6th Floor Book Depository.
For a 'soft adventure' take the free tram to ? (end of the line), walk past the wishing tree, head 1 o'clock through the car park, and have dinner at Tacoyvino ! fabulous !!!
Disliked: Overuse of single use plastic cutlery / plates ... no attempt to recycle ... I despair :-(

Liked: Breakfast was great!
Disliked: Parking was awful! I don?t know where I could have self parked. My daughter and I would have had to walk down dark streets to get to the hotel and that was not happening. We waited down the street for 30 minutes to get a spot on the curb for valet parking. When I would call the front the desk and let them know there was no spot for valet parking I would be repeatedly told to just pull up and I couldn?t get her to understand that there was no spot to pull up to! I was very frustrated since I did not fill safe sitting on the side street waiting.
