La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Westport

We thought the hotel was very nice. The room was really nice and the breakfast was great. Liked how there is a little shop by the front desk in case you run out of something. Wish the pool had been open.

I had an awesome experience with this hotel. I felt very safe and comfortable. The rate is great for a traveller on a budget too.

Liked: Our experience was below average for what we paid.
Disliked: Wear and tear maintenance needed attention. The smell in the hallway and elevator needed attention. The staff was not there to serve our needs only to do the minimum.

To quote my son, "Communication...

Liked: Breakfast was standard for the chain, waffle maker, cereal, choice of breads, yogurts, juice and milk
Disliked: Breakfast: The juice machine was not well-maintained, producing flakes of old dried juice mix into the cup. Breads were left open to the air, no door or cover allowing it to dry out. Yogurt was a single flavor that ran out two hours before breakfast was over. The eggs were overcooked, rubbery, dry, and a little green. All was reported to the staff, but they didn't seem to understand. It was similar to when we asked for extra pillows, and had to actually show a pillow to the staff member for them to understand the word. They had come to answer our request with pillow cases, towels, even sheets, but eventually provided pillows once shown what was needed.
